I’m an East Coast transplant who’s proud to call the Bay Area home. As an experienced educator, my passion has always been about making a positive impact on the lives of young people. After earning my degree in Business Management from Hampton University, I went on to get my teaching credential at San Francisco State and later earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership from UC Berkeley.
Over the past 28 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in many roles—from paraprofessional and math teacher to principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as district and adult school administrator. No matter the title, my focus has always been on putting students first and helping them grow into confident, capable young adults.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my daughter, exploring new places, catching live music, and working on my golf swing. And yes—I’m a proud fan of the Steelers, Lakers, and Mets!
